Missouri’s Training Quality Assurance System

As of February 2012, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), Section for Childcare Regulation, now requires that trainings offered for child care licensing clock hours must be approved through this updated system. The new system has been renamed the Missouri Training Quality Assurance System (TQAS). The TQAS is a quality assurance system for professional development that looks at both content of training and qualifications of trainers which includes a streamlined process for professional development registration and tracking and a multi-tiered approach to training approval - Standard or Enhanced.
